Educational Apps for Parents by Parents
MAD Learning had a simple begining: two sets of parents (one in England and one in the USA) needed specific tools to help their kids at school. The problem: their kids ranged in age from 3-15.
The solution: instead of building one huge Web site that had all the answers, the parents decided to build specific apps the kids use on an iPod Touch. This is how MAD Learning started.
Elementary Apps
We have two elementary apps: Sprite's 123 and Sprite's ABC. Both teach fundamental learning and concepts.
Middle School Apps
Our newest selection of Apps target Middle School. Our first subject we are tackling is history with the Pocket History series.
Pocket Ancient Egypt is our first Pocket History app. The app teaches about the Ancient Egyptians and includes a fun tool that allows you to create Hieroglyphics.
High School Apps
Joining the Pocket History series is a new series on Shakespeare: Pocket Shakespeare. You can download To Quote Shakespeare and Pocket Shakespeare: Macbeth.
